They're empty and they're hollow,
But they were made that way.
They disguise their true intentions,
And mess up what you say.

I want to say I love you,

Words always escape me
When I'm trying to sound strong.

But if I knew what love meant,
Then maybe I could find,
The path that brings us closer,
To leaving words behind.

But I don't know what love means,
I haven't got a clue.
The only thing I know of love,
Is how much I love you.

I don't need words to say it.
I can count words out.
When I look into your eyes I know,
What love is all about.

So you don't have to say I love you
No words are needed here.
Love is not a statement,
Love is what you feel.
